Abrasive Blasting Method

Controlled surface preparation to achieve the correct profile for long-lasting coatings.

Abrasive blasting (sandblasting) is the controlled cleaning and descaling of metal using a high-velocity stream of abrasive grit. This stream is directed through a nozzle under air pressure to remove rust, mill scale, old paint, and surface contamination.

Tone-Blast uses steel abrasive grit, which helps reduce dust on the blasted surface and makes it easier to apply subsequent paint systems. The company works closely with customers to develop solutions that match specific service conditions and performance requirements.

All blast rooms and paint areas are undercover, ensuring work can continue in all weather conditions and agreed delivery timeframes are maintained.

The Tone-Blast Team

Tone-Blast has a well-established team of approximately 23 employees, including experienced blasters, painters, and support staff. Many team members have been with the business for years, contributing to consistent workmanship and deep practical knowledge of industrial coatings.
